Nice old-fashioned pub with a theatre upstairs and a beer garden of sorts (concrete with benches & tables, but they've painted the walls) out the back. Lots of plush red furniture, quite dark. Sells reasonable, well-kept beer (Pride and a couple of other things), standard prices. I've most often visited on a Friday or Saturday evening and usually been able to find a seat.

Usefully right opposite Electrowerkz.
