Olawa bakery is an artisan Polish bakery near Tooting Bec tube station. secretlondon has been here a few times as it opens at 6am which is good when work is local and starts at 7 am!
They sell a wide range of breads, extremely unhealthy looking cakes and pastries. They also have a small section of bread based savouries like pizzas, baked hotdogs and cabbage rolls. The stock is clearly made off site as secretlondon has seen it come in, it arrives every morning.
secretlondon popped in at 6:45 one weekday in March 2022 for breakfast on the go. I've had their large croissants (£1.70 - with or without chocolate filling), a mini pizza (£2.40) and a polish hotdog (£2.60).
The chocolate croissant was filled with what I think is catering chocolate - it didn't taste quite like normal chocolate. The pizza was a circle of dough with tomato, peppers and cheese. The hot dog is standard processed meat hotdog in a large bread with tomato and peppers. Everything they sell is pretty large.
Their website says they do home delivery if your order is over £20, and do stalls at some street markets.
They do Too Good To Go bags with left over stock at closing time.
