Pub between Southwark Station and Borough Station. The same family have run the pub for 50 years. Landlords are quite friendly and chatty people.
Serves a not very exciting but large range of beers (Pride, Young's Bitter, Adnams, Green King IPA and Spitfire) at around £2.80 each. All of the beers are drinkable.
There was a quiet room round the back with a fireplace which was pleasant.
Food (English basics) is served 11am-2:30pm and 5:30pm-11pm from Monday to Friday. No food served during the weekends.
The Time Out review of this place says that it's on a street “so small that the compilers of some London maps haven't attempted to mark its name”.

Comment added by Kake: Actually I think bob's photo is more useful... I'll change it back (and link Aurelien's from the text) unless someone wants to argue me out of it.
