A pub near Ladywell Station, which was refurbished and reopened in June 2008.
They've done a decent enough job making the place look sprightly and fresh, with wooden floors, comfortable sofas as well as plenty of tables. One side of the bar is bright and airy, though the other (where the pool tables used to be) seems a little darker and can echo rather noisily with peoples' conversations. Outside, the beer garden is merely perfunctory, but on the whole the place is welcoming and comfortable inside.
Tjere are two ales on handpump (Bombardier and Adnam's Bitter) as well as Addlestone's cider, Amstel and others on draught. There's a wine list available as well, with small 175ml glasses at £3.25-£5.
There's a food menu photo, which on a Sunday afternoon covered the usual roast options (with a leek & mushroom pie with the trimmings for vegetarians, around £8.50).
Service still seems to be learning the ropes, so another visit not so soon after its reopening might be in order.

Comment added by Kake: Adnams Explorer 1.60/half; the other pump had Harveys Sussex Best. Not sure what service issues Ewan experienced last time, but this time I had to stop the barmaid pouring me the wrong beer. She was very friendly though. One step up to get in, but it's on one level once you're in.
