Historical version 1 of Kitty's Cafe, NW10 6TD (view current version)

Thai cafe in North Acton.

bob visited on a Tuesday Lunchtime at about 13:00 in august. There were quite a few customers in but still plenty of seating. The cafe can seat about 30 people in a canteen style way. People just having a drink or a snack are not allowed to sit down between 12:00 and 14:30.

They do breakfasts in the morning. The set breakfast of Egg, Bacon, Sausage, Beans, 2 toast and tea is £3.20. Coffee is 15p extra.

They have a choice of about 5 starters. I had the spring rolls(£2.30). They were okay. The sweet chilli sauce was possibly homemade and quite tasty. There are about 8 main course choices with 2 of those being daily specials. Prawn dishes are £4.30 others are £3.70. I had the Stir fried beef with Chilli, veg and rice. It was nothing special but not bad for the price. The chilli was undetectable but this was okay given the chilli flakes in oil and pickled chilli carrots on the table. Its almost worth visiting to try the pickled chilli carrots. Jasmine tea was 50p.

bob's verdict: Not worth a trip but pretty decent food quite cheap if you happen to work in the area.
