Cafe/Greasy Spoon/Delicatessen near Oval Station.
bob and Martin visited on a Thursday morning before a Test match at the Brit Oval. There were already quite a few people in but we managed to get a table. The other spares soon filled up afterwards. On our visit you ordered at the counter and were then allowed to be seated. Payment was the counter upon your leaving. bob had 2 eggs, bacon and a sausage and a cup of tea. These were all adequate. The sausage could have been better though. Martin went for the full english photo which he seemed happy enough with. As we were leaving I noticed they had some Portuguese custard tarts so I had 2. They were very good.
They can seat possibly 16 people. The tables are up a quite narrow set of stairs.
