Historical version 1 of Grove, NW11 7ES (view current version)

A shop-conversion high street pub in the Temple Fortune area of Golders Green, where there are few other options for drinkers.

Inside, the pub is long and thin as you'd expect, with a row of high tables and stools lined up opposite the bar, above which is a prominent TV screen. There's a pool table down the end, along with another TV screen, and a small darkened booth accommodating a couple of regular tables.

On a Wednesday evening, the main TV was showing football with the sound up (the other had cricket) and the high tables opposite the bar were mostly taken by locals quietly watching the match. It's hardly a rowdy or unwelcoming place and service is fine.

There are no handpulls, but they have a range of keg draught beers, including Bass, John Smiths, Guinness, Coors Light, and other regular lagers.
