A very fine Shepherd Neame pub in the Old Ford part of Bow, complete with a BookCrossing Zone. Under new management since early 2008, it offers Shepherd Neame beers as well as Oranjeboom lager. Free seafood (and cheese and biscuits) on Sunday evenings. Music is from the landlords' own collections, and there is a beer garden (used by smokers).
Opening hours: Sunday 12 noon to 10:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, 12 noon to 11 pm, Friday 12 noon to 12 midnight, Saturday 11 am to 1 am.
Kent's Best is £2.75 a pint
