Reasonably-sized supermarket in Southall, specialising in South Asian foods and ingredients. According to their website, they've been trading since 1970.

Kake visited in December 2008. As well as a huge range of spices and things like that (including black salt and jaggery), they also had various flours and pulses, mock meats, paan ingredients, fried snacky things, and other ingredients such as gol gappa (pani puri) shells. There were some fresh ingredients in the display out the front (onions, garlic, chillies), though I didn't spot the fresh curry leaves I was looking for. These may have been in the fridges/freezers out the back, though (I didn't look in these because I knew it would be some hours until I got home).

This place is well worth a visit if you're looking for anything on the more obscure side, or if you want to buy large quantities of more common ingredients.
