May 2021 Update:
Very quiet on a post-lockdown afternoon so needs customers to come back.
At that stage they only had Tribute on but it was in good nick.
Same publican
(and decor I think) for 30 years, so looks a little tired. As above, still a pub for workers not suits. Friendly, chatty staff.
Ladies' toilet is upstairs, gents' on the ground floor (I think).

Pub in the City. It's been in the Good Beer Guide a few times.

The beer appears to be well-kept. At least, the Directors was very pleasant in August 2008.

On DrHyde's August 2008 visit, although it was 6pm on a working day the service from the well-staffed bar was quick, it was busy but not over-crowded, and was refreshingly free of City vermin. Instead it seems to attract a crowd of people who do real work in the area, as well as clergy and the like from St Paul's Cathedral which is very close.

Ladies' toilet is upstairs, gents' on the ground floor (I think).
