| Pub in the [[Locale City|City]]. It's been in the [[Category Good Beer Guide|Good Beer Guide]] a few times. The beer appears to be well-kept. At least, the Directors was very pleasant in August 2008. On [[DrHyde]]'s August 2008 visit, although it was 6pm on a working day the service from the well-staffed bar was quick, it was busy but not over-crowded, and was refreshingly free of City vermin. Instead it seems to attract a crowd of people who do <em>real</em> work in the area, as well as clergy and the like from St Paul's Cathedral which is very close. Ladies' toilet is upstairs, gents' on the ground floor (I think).
