Historical version 5 of Category Castle Pubs (view current version)
A sub-brand of the Mitchells & Butlers pub chain. Previously some or perhaps all of these pubs were referred to internally as "Castle" pubs, but were unbranded in the customer-facing view. At some point they acquired the branding of "Metro Professionals", though we aren't sure if this was a new branding or simply a subsuming of the Castle pubs into an existing brand.
In any case, the pubs that fall within this brand have near-identical websites, as well as sharing a very similar food menu and often with similar (albeit good quality) drinks selections. Nevertheless, the pubs themselves retain a good amount of individual character, and represent some of the best quality pubs in the M&B portfolio.
