Fish and chip restaurant in South Croydon.

This is primarily a takeaway shop, but there is a table at bar height next to the window, along with a couple of stools, so some people eat their food inside.

The menu includes various types of fish (cod, rock, plaice, haddock, skate), along with sausages, burgers, and pies. There's a separate menu for children and OAPs. The chips are thick cut, and (deliberately) soft rather than crispy. A small portion costs £1.50: this is cheaper than Burger King for a larger portion.

The staff are friendly, and recognise regular visitors.

There's a Sheffield stand (bike rack) on the opposite side of the road, within sight of the fish bar.

Accessibility: There's one step from the pavement.
