Starters come quickly, after complimentary bread and dipping oil, with a butternut squash soup being soup of the day on our visit (adjudged excellent by those who had it), while my stuffed courgettes were cooked to a perfect consistency. The main courses seem quite pricy at £11.50 but the food doesn't disappoint. Most of our group had the potato cakes with casserole, which were lovely, light and not stodgy at all. |
