Good Beer Guide pub near Tower Bridge. Serves decent Adnams. Stocks wasabi crackers and offers rather gastropubby food. Bookable room or two.
The interior is all pine tables and cream covered chairs. There are a couple of sofas and a fireplace.
Has a full range of very well kept Adnams beers on. For around £3.
The food was very good. The homemade houmous was very garlicy. Dave enjoyed his grilled kidneys with black pudding and bacon.
The fillet steak at about £16 was cooked properly. Although there may have been a bit to much connective tissue for my liking. The peppercorn sauce was very good.
The bread and butter pudding was very good as well. the custard was top notch too.
