The Borderline is a small Mean Fiddler venue in Soho.

It hosts a variety of mostly indie-based club nights, but the live acts tend towards alt-country, southern rock and americana. Bands are usually a good mix of up and coming new acts and cult favourites.

They use TicketMaster and See Tickets for booking tickets, so expect stupidly overpriced postage and per-ticket transaction fees. You can call them at about 6pm to see if tickets on the door are available, or visit the Jazz Cafe Camden (the Astoria no longer sells tickets for the Borderline).

Getting here: Just off Charing Cross Road near Foyles Bookshop. Exit Tottenham Court Road Station, turn right, walk southbound down Charing Cross Road towards Trafalgar Square. It's two minutes from the station.
