Zone 2 Tube station on the District, East London, and Hammersmith & City lines.
Northern terminus of the East London Line. Shoreditch used to be the terminus until it closed - there is a replacement bus service between Whitechapel and the west end of Bethnal Green Road that is supposed to run until the end of the year (2007), but I've heard will run until June or so. Only runs before 10:30am and between 3:30pm and 8:30pm, weekdays.
