There is a toilet in the station but little else. There's a newsagents/sandwiches/hot drinks/off licence place (Vetry's) next door and some bars and restaurants just round the corner. |

There's also a pub called the Ring just a little way along from the station - [http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=51.52752,-0.28584&z=15 here] - opening hours Mon-Sat noon-11pm, Sun noon-10:30pm; cask ale available, steak nights, live music, karaoke. It is the place that used to be Joice's Irish Bar and is about as rough as Joice's used to be - the only thing that has changed is the name.
