Mudra was an Indian restaurant in Leytonstone. As of mid-2009, it had closed and the premises were occupied by [http://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/4911349589/ Rasa Mudra], part of the [[Rasa, N16 0AR|Rasa]] chain of restaurants. This later closed in its turn, giving way to another Indian restaurant called [http://web.archive.org/web/20120426184842/http://www.swadrestaurant.com/ Swad @ Mudra]. It's not clear to what extent the staff and menu changed or were retained during all this. |
Lovely restaurant advertising "South & North Indian Country Cuisine" - mostly vegetarian, but apparently the meat is also extremely tasty. It's run by Hindi-speaking Indians, and decorated suitably but not gaudily. The lighting and acoustics are extremely good. |
