Foote's is split into two halves with the ground floor selling drums and percussion and the basement selling orchestral strings, brass and woodwind instruments. They have a very good range of stock available in store, with a wide range of manufacturers, and price points represented. It is probably not the place to go looking for a bargain, but if you are looking to try a wide variety of instruments you will have a hard time finding somewhere better. The service is reasonably good by music shop standards, no on has actually been rude to me, but if there is anything more interesting going on expect to be ignored for a little while. The staff, whilst obviously being musicians aren't terribly invested in the success of the shop and so wont go out of their way to offer you help or advice. |

We haven't visited since the move, so some of the information below may be out of date. They sell drums, percussion, orchestral strings, brass, and woodwind instruments.
