Japanese takeaway and eat-in cafe-style at the Aldwych end of Holborn.
It has six chilled cabinets and a hot food counter. Seasoning such as soy sauce comes in sachets and is 5p extra. They do sushi and bento.
secretlondon visited on a Wednesday evening in February 2009. I had tofu jahang fried rice (£4 something) photo and a can of oolong tea (£1.20). It is cheaper to take out.
The cafe is very bright with green plastic stools and there was soft rock in the background. I felt my food needed more seasoning. The hot food counter was much depleted at 7:45pm and closed at 8pm, an hour before the rest of the place. It sold only pre-prepared sushi, cold drinks and Japanese 'sweets' (which were like little manufactured cakes).
