| The Charcoal was a pub in [[Locale Sidcup|Sidcup]]. It has now closed. It was previously called the Charcoal Burner, but according to the Aug/Sep 2017 <i>London Drinker</i> it was renamed to the Charcoal. It was in the 2007 Good Beer Guide (as the Charcoal Burner) but not later editions. It was [https://www.fromthemurkydepths.co.uk/2020/05/02/sidcup-pub-the-charcoal-has-been-engulfed-by-large-fire-tonight/ badly damaged by fire] in May 2020, and as of August 2021 Google Street View shows it still boarded up.
