Locals' pub in Whyteleafe.
There's a bar in the middle with seating down both sides, and a pool table at the back. There also seems to be a bookable function room.
bob visited early on a Saturday evening in June 2012. The pub was quite full inside and out; this may have been because of the live music, the fact it was the landlord's birthday, or both. Getting served was no problem though.
Two real ales were available; London Pride (£3.30/pint) and Spitfire. The Pride was adequate.
According to their website as of July 2012, food is served 11am-3pm Monday-Friday (or possibly Monday-Saturday; different pages on the site state different days), and there's also a roast or barbecue on Sundays (depending on the weather).
