A bright, cheerful and hip new addition to Chatsworth Road in Lower Clapton.
Cakey Muto offers daily fresh offerings of Monmouth coffees, various teas and cakes, scones, and cupcakes available in vegan and gluten-free recipes. Lunchtime offerings include quiche and pies with hot sauce — vegetarian, vegan and meat-based. As of June 2012, the typical price for a cupcake or slice of cake is £2.50.
The cafe is licensed and features music quizzes and bands in the evenings. The walls serve as a gallery for up and coming artists. They also have a coffee club where 9 stamps gets you a free coffee.
