| Zone 6 Tube station at the Western terminus of the Central Line, which interchanges with the Chiltern Railways line from Marylebone to Denham, High Wycombe and Banbury. Directly outside the station are several bicycle racks and a bus stop served by the U1 (going to Ruislip or Uxbridge/Hillingdon Hospital). The station is nearer to Ickenham than Ruislip - Ickenham tube station is about ten minutes' easy walk as you turn left out of the station. The station was formerly adjacent to the RAF West Ruslip site (used by the US Navy), however the base is now undergoing redevelopment.
