Comment added by Kake: Pride is now 2.95. Pub quite lively at 4pm on a Tuesday but still a few free tables. Seems to serve food all day as the party behind me are eating their lunch. I get the impression that the staff will chat to you if you chat to them first, but they default to assuming you just want to get your beer with no fuss (which is perfectly sensible, given the location). There's a sign above the bar saying that breakfast is now served Mon-Fri. Background music, but not intrusively loud.

Fuller's Ale & Pie House on the corner of Bayley Street and Tottenham Court Road.

Bob, Dean, and Kake visited on a Tuesday evening in March 2008. Beers available were ESB, London Pride (£2.80/pint), Discovery, and Chiswick. Beer was fine, but Dean's Diet Pepsi (£2.05/pint) was flat. The barman was notable for being a veritable whirl of activity - yet still friendly enough. We weren't there very long so don't know what it's like for an extended session. There was background music but not too loud. They were serving food (in this area I assume they serve it at lunchtimes too).
