A park cafe in Springfield Park, Upper Clapton, which also goes by the name "Spark Cafe".
The high-ceiling roofs of this former mansion building now house this friendly cafe. A short order kitchen operates behind the front bar area, and a few tables dot themselves around this and the adjoining room, with its large windows and creaky floors. There's also a large outdoors seating area in the park itself, with some spectacular views across the Lea Valley.
As might be expected this is a popular location for parents of the area, but there's usually space and it's never too overpowering.

Breakfasts were priced around £6, with coffee photo an extra. They also have an orange juice machine which squeezes fresh orange juice: pricy but very tasty.
