Small street market in gentrified East Dulwich. It's located on Northcross Road, just off the Goose Green end of Lordship Lane.
secretlondon visited on a Saturday afternoon in October 2009. There were a number of stalls on the south side of the road running along from the junction with Lordship Lane — a second hand bookstall, some takeaway food stalls, a costume jewellery stall, and a stall offering freshly-ground coffee. Although there were a few premium food stalls, the items on offer didn't look all that different from what you can get on Lordship Lane. There were none of the fruit and veg stalls you'd expect to see in a traditional street market, just things like homemade fudge, cured meats, cheeses, and so on.
The market seems to be a relatively new thing, and is quite small. It's clearly aiming to be upmarket, so there weren't many bargains to be found. I thought the costume jewellery looked unexciting, but I did buy a book (from a stall holder who wasn't there).
Note that some parts of the internet call the road Northcross and some North Cross. The Council use Northcross, but maps seem to say North Cross.
