Lovely restaurant advertising "South & North Indian Country Cuisine" - mostly vegetarian, but apparently the meat is also extremely tasty. It's run by Hindi-speaking Indians, and decorated suitably but not gaudily. The lighting and acoustics are extremely good.
Main meals run around £4, plus rice, naan, dosa, idiappam, chapatti, poori, or paratha. They do a very good filling (and cheap) lunch platter as well.
