Vietnamese restaurant on Kingsland Road in Shoreditch.
It can seat a total of 60 people, with 22 of them on bar chairs at high tables. The decor is very modern.
bob visited on a Thursday lunchtime in August 2018. There were six people in when I arrived, and a few more turned up while I was eating. Music was playing in the background.
I started with banh tom (£6.90) photo which was some very nice fried potato topped with a couple of fried prawns. The prawns could have been deshelled better; one of them still had its legs on.
I then had thit kho (slow-cooked pork with egg; £8.90) photo with peppercorn rice (£3.20) photo. The pork was very tender, the sauce was tasty, and the duck egg was pleasant enough. The rice was well cooked and tasted of pepper.
Accessibility: Two steps to get in. The toilets are on the same level as the eating area. There are three cubicles, one of which is accessible.
