Pub in Erith.
The first thing one sees on entering is a pool table, sitting in its own clear space surrounded by a couple of fruit machines and a high table or two. The bar is further back, flanked by bar stools, and there's a dart board here too.
Opposite the bar is a little tucked-away seating space, separated off by wood-panelled room dividers with frosted glass spelling out the name of the pub. Here are normal chairs and tables, a couple of sofas, and various bits of the usual pub paraphernalia. Pot plants and large earthenware jars sit on the windowsills, looking nice but also blocking much of the sunlight. The carpet is worthy of note, featuring motifs of running horses.
Kake visited on a Wednesday afternoon in March 2017. There were half a dozen customers outside and the same number inside when I arrived around 1:15pm, a couple of them just finishing lunch. Music was playing, fairly generic pop, not too loud.
Although there are two handpumps on the bar, the clips were turned around and there were a couple of charity boxes attempting to hide them from view. A pint of lime squash (they were out of soda) was £1.20.
They do fairly standard pub food photo of menu, and there were also some tasty-looking rolls in a glass case behind the bar for £1.50 each.
Accessibility: A ramp to get in, with a 90-degree turn and door immediately at the top. There's only limited normal-height seating on the level. No steps to the toilets.
