The beer was tasty. Young's Ordinary was £2.75. they also had bombardier on. The food was okay. The steak (£10.75) was a touch tough and slightly over cooked. Martin had no complaints about his burger (£8.25). The pub has 2 floors with upstairs being reserved for diners it would seem. There is nice conservatory at the back of the ground floor. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor as well. The main toilets are down in the basement. The amount of people in the pub waxed and waned over the evening. We suspect this depends on performances of the surrounding venues. Most of the time it was quite busy on a thursday night. |
