Small branch of the chain on High Holborn, serving Japanese curries, noodles and sushi.
One of many lunch options on a road crammed with them, this branch caters mostly to takeaway customers. There are around half a dozen small tables with high seats, plus bar stools along the ledges on each side of the room. There are also a handful of extra stools near the till at the back, for those waiting for their takeaway.
On a visit in May 2015, Kat enjoyed her takeaway tub of beef udon (£7), which had a satisfying amount of meat, grease and salt.
Accessibility: One step to get in, then flat throughout. No low seating that I could see. Couldn't see any customer toilets.
Last visited by Kat, May 2015. Opening hours taken from the Japanese Canteen website, May 2015.
