A loud DJ bar in Shoreditch (not really Hoxton).

This new bar, replacing a former incarnation (Pool Bar), is certainly shiny. Surfaces gleam black and red, though there's some odd natural history dioramas to each side of the bar to add a bit of nature in. Low tables alternate with high ones around the side of the room. Downstairs is a dancefloor and DJ area.

The focus here is on the cocktail list. They have Meantime Helles and Pilsner Urquell beers on draught (£3.50/pint), as well as bottled Pride, Innis & Gunn, Brew Dog Islay Finish, and others.

There's a food menu (which can be found on the website), which emphasises traditional English foods, and are priced at around £7-£9 for a main.

Service is friendly, and although on Ewan's visit he get a chance to try the cocktails, they come recommended.
