Bike shop in Maida Hill.

Halfpipe specialises in serving skateboard and snowboard enthusiasts and the BMX/MTB sections of the cycling community, although they do stock a wider range of bikes than this might indicate.

The shop is on four levels, of which only two are accessible to the general public. The main floor showcases their range of bicycles and components and cycling clothing, while the basement is dedicated to snowboarding and skateboarding. There is a workshop in the upper floors.

The staff are friendly and helpful, although their advice is often coloured by the specialist and fashion-oriented nature of their specialism. Orders can be placed through their website or by phone and they have shown themselves able to order stock in quickly.

Accessibility: Access is very much not step-free, with a couple of steps up to the front door and even more down a narrow wooden staircase to the main shop floor, which is quite cramped.
