Very cheap; we had a lot and came out at £11 a head. Mains cost £5–6.50, starters no more than £2.50, and fresh rotis 50p. No booze but you can bring your own. |

They used to have two other branches, [[Lahore Masala House, NW5 2AE|one in Kentish Town]] and another in [[Locale Norbury|Norbury]], but these have both now closed. |
Comment added by James Duncan: I love this place - by far my favorite curry place in East London. Off the beaten path a little, but who cares when that path is Brick Lane... |

Famous curry place off Commercial Road in Whitechapel.
It can seat quite a few people. On a Thursday lunchtime, they had no problem seating 14 people without a booking. On another visit on a Friday evening we had a reservation for 7pm, and were the first group in the 100+ seating area upstairs, but it got busy (with a lot of ambient noise) within an hour.
Very cheap; we had a lot and came out at £11 a head. Mains cost £5Â6.50, starters no more than £2.50, and fresh rotis 50p. No booze but you can bring your own.
Bob says: It was very tasty. The sheek kebab and karahi gosht are particularly good. Medium is certainly tasty and not overpowering.
