Three out of the four handpumps were in use on our visit: Otter Amber Ale, Sambrooks' Wandle and Young's Bitter (£3.45/pint). Judging by their website, the guest ales rotate fairly regularly. [[Kat]] had a huge macaroni cheese (£8) for lunch, which was happily not drenched in mustard. The menu is quite traditional pub food: Sunday roasts, burgers (£11), steak and so on — everyone seemed pleased with their food.

A decent Youngs' pub near Ravenscourt Park tube station.

Kat and a group of friends visited on a Sunday afternoon in November 2013. The pub was quite busy, being at the tail end of the Sunday lunch slot, mainly with families (young children seem to be very welcome). The back room definitely had an emphasis on dining, with cutlery laid out on the tables. The front section of the pub was more cosy, with sofas and a log fire.

Three out of the four handpumps were in use on our visit: Otter Amber Ale, Sambrooks' Wandle and Young's Bitter (£3.45/pint). Judging by their website, the guest ales rotate fairly regularly. Kat had a huge macaroni cheese (£8) for lunch, which was happily not drenched in mustard. The menu is quite traditional pub food: Sunday roasts, burgers (£11), steak and so on - everyone seemed pleased with their food.

Kat's verdict: a pleasant pub to spend an afternoon in, and the food is perfectly fine. I'd return if I was in the area.

Accessibility: toilets are on the ground floor.
