Small street market in gentrified East Dulwich. Northcross Road is off Lordship Lane, towards the Goose Green end of the road. It's a relatively new thing. Some parts of the internet call the road Northcross and some North Cross. The Council use Northcross, maps seem to say North Cross.
secretlondon visited one Saturday afternoon in October 2009. There were a number of stalls on the south side of the road from the junction with Lordship Lane. There was a second hand bookstall, some takeaway food stalls, some unexciting (in secretlondon's eyes) costume jewellry and a stall offering coffee grinding. It is clearly aiming to be upmarket but was small and not full of bargains. I bought a book (from a stall holder who wasn't there) and ignored the small number of premium food stalls, which were not that different from those on Lordship Lane. There are no fruit and veg stalls here - they are selling homemade fudge, cured meats, cheeses etc.
