Indian restaurant on Denman Street which rotates through different Indian regional cuisines.

They do a "regional special" where you get a discount if you have a starter, main course, and dessert from the same region.

The main courses we had were brought over in three, smaller, separate plates and a crescent one for eating from. Very nice food. The kulcha is recommended. 35 quid for two starters, mains, drinks, and a side.

The restaurant is very large, but has annoying leather seats.

Question from Kake: The internet suggests you may have to sit at communal tables; is this still the case? Answer from Anonymous: Yes, appears so - the tables are joined together in long rows. I went there a few weeks ago and although there were only a few other customers I could see that one would be expected to share elbow space. The food itself was fairly good (not exciting, but good). Only thing I didn't like was the seating: soft cubes with no back and you couldn't tuck your feet under, so you're forced to adopt a poor posture.
