Down to earth pub in Stoke Newington, maybe even a teensy weensy bit rough, but decent, quite nice decor with exposed brick, an open fire, real ale (Spitfire), an enormous garden, and occasional live music. DJ at weekends. It's part of a small chain of pubs run by Antic.

On dhyandeva's visit in January 2007 the real ale pump label was turned round, but that was probably because a very popular local band was on.
