Good Beer Guide pub near Aldwych. Note that they're closed weekend evenings.
They have eight handpumps and are very keen on guest ales - see photo of the October 2007 beer list.
A blackboard seen outside in October 2007 said that food is served noon-9:30pm Mon-Fri, but a menu seen on the same visit said that breakfast is available from 11am (and served all day). Food is provided by some weird kind of franchising thing, via http://www.apcateringltd.com/ - interesting concept.
Toilets are upstairs, and there's another (bookable) room up there too. The function room can seat 30 comfortably, and has a limit of 45 people due to fire regulations.
