Good Beer Guide pub alongside the canal in Hanwell.

It has a beer garden where smoking is permitted, and a "tea barn" photo which serves cakes, teas, and coffees in the summer months.

When bob visited on a Saturday evening in October 2018, there were six real ales on: London Pride (£4.15/pint), Timothy Taylor's Landlord, St Austell Proper Job, First Chop Hop, Harvey's Sussex Best, and Exeter Avocet Ale. They also had Lily The Pink cider.

According to the Fox website as of October 2018, food is served noon-3pm and 6pm-9pm Mon-Thu; noon-3pm and 6pm-9:30pm Fri; noon-9:30pm Sat; and 12:30pm-5pm Sun (roasts; advance booking recommended).

Quiz night is Thursday from 9pm, according to the Fox website as of October 2018.

Child-friendliness: According to the Fox website as of October 2018, children are "warmly-welcome", and they have "a toddler house" in the garden and "baby facilities to hand". They have a short children's menu with just one vegetarian option photo.

Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads. They have a "doggie menu" photo as of October 2018.

Accessibility: One entrance has a shallow step; the other has a larger one. Once you're in, there's level access to the toilets, but the gents' at least is quite cramped. There's a ramp into the tea barn.
