Small, friendly Fuller's pub just off Gracechurch Street in the City. In the Good Beer Guide.
Note that it's closed on weekends. Also need to check the opening hours; the Good Beer Guide says it's open until 11pm, while Beer in the Evening suggests it closes at 9pm unless custom demands.
Many people on the internet seem to praise its sandwiches. Not sure if they do food in the evening as well as at lunchtime, suspect not.
Small bar downstairs, larger one (possibly bookable) upstairs.
