David Barber, a visitor to this site, comments that he thinks this is "the finest silk emporium in all London", and that they'll do their best to get special orders in within 24 hours.

Comment added by david barber: Dear everyone. It is with great sadness, I have to report, that Soho Silks far as I know, has ceased trading.
As a very loyal customer and dear friend of the owners since 2001, on my recent visit to london August 28th, I found to my dismay, the place locked and empty, apart from all the rubbish inside. They were planning to move to a new shop in Berwick Street. The owners, on whom I am great friends with, have not been in touch, Rebecca the daughter and her Mum Janice. I don`t know what has happened. I can only assume that the deal all fell through, so the place folded, what a tragedy for a wonderful shop of 30 years standing and 5 star service, and such lovely owners. I will let you know if I hear anything. In the current economic situatiom, busineses do go under, and owners have to cut their losses. I have no idea if the owners of the late Soho Silks will set up in dress fabric business again. Yours sincerly David Barber
