Osushi was a small Japanese/sushi restaurant in Croydon. It closed down by January 2023 and was replaced by a branch of Uncle Lim's.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.

Japanese/sushi restaurant in Croydon. Very good nigiri - the rice is good rice cooked and seasoned well, and the fish is fresh and in good proportion to the rice. They also do a wide range of other Japanese dishes. Often, menus with a lot of choices are a sign of lower quality, but this is not the case here.

The non-sushi dishes are very good. You can in fact have an entire meal which has been deep fried: deep fried squid, then deep fried Vietnamese-style fish with tempura vegetables, finished off with tempura ice cream.

The restaurant is small but pleasant, although the chairs are a little low for the tables. Lots of wood. Service is very friendly. They also offer takeaway, and will deliver.

Food last sampled (as takeaway) by Kake and bob, October 2018. Last visited by Kake, bob, and other members of the Croydon Fun Weekend, January 2014.
