| The Old Rose was a decent enough pub in [[Locale Wapping|Wapping]]. As of spring 2011, [http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/25340/ Pubs Galore reports] that it's closed and boarded up. The information below is retained for people who want to know what it used to be like. <div class="old_info"> Decent enough pub in [[Locale Wapping|Wapping]]. The bar has four handpulls for ale, with two in use on a July 2010 visit. However, neither the Pride nor Young's ordinary were in fit condition to be served. Other cooking lagers, and Strongbow, are available. Basic pub food served lunchtimes it would seem. Possibly also the evening; signs in the pub advertise a curry day on Wednesday, 12-3pm and 5-9pm. Closed Sundays. Not sure about other opening times.
