It now claims to be bar and restaurant (ie a gastropub) So I suspect food is served all the time now. They have a fairly standard pubby menu plus around 7 specials. |

I had a special on the day I went, Swordfish Stir-fry with Egg Noodles for £9.50. I t was very tasty. It was a swordfish steak griddled to perfection. Possibly a littel underdone in places (to my taste) but thats fine for fish. The noodles were stir-fried with peppers, chillies and some very tasty squid rings(these were not tough at all) and a prawn. The apple and mango crumble at £4.75 was decent enough. The ice cream was fantastic. The crumble was not as crumbly as it could have been. |
