It now claims to be a bar and restaurant (i.e. a gastropub), so I suspect food is served all the time now. They have a fairly standard pubby menu plus around seven specials.

[[Bob]] visited in May 2007 and tried one of the specials; swordfish stir-fry with egg noodles (£9.50). It was very tasty. It was a swordfish steak griddled to perfection, possibly a little underdone in places (to my taste) but that's fine for fish. The noodles were stir-fried with peppers, chillies and some very tasty squid rings (these were not tough at all) and a prawn. The apple and mango crumble at £4.75 was decent enough. The ice cream was fantastic, but the crumble was not as crumbly as it could have been.
