Camden Town is the area of the London Borough of Camden that surrounds Camden Town Station, extending up past Camden Road Station and South to Mornington Crescent Station. It is mostly within the NW1 postcode area.

It is most well-known for its Markets, which are mostly concentrated just north of the Canal towards Chalk Farm along Chalk Farm Road. All along Camden High Street, towards the Markets, are a variety of gaudy shops and smaller areas of market stalls, particularly goth and metal clothing shops.

To the west is Primrose Hill and Regent's Park, to the north Chalk Farm and Kentish Town, to the south the areas around Euston Station (historically called Somers Town, but see Euston) and King's Cross Station (see King's Cross locale), and to the east are Barnsbury and Islington.
