Bookshop in Twickenham, with a cafe at the back.

The focus is on new books; no second-hand, though the cafe does have a couple of bookcases with damaged stock and old editions of travel guides on sale for cheaper prices. A fairly large proportion of the space is given over to children's books, but other sections include poetry, sport, science, history, and philosophy.

On Kake's May 2011 visit, the cookery section consisted mainly of glossy cookbooks written by celebrity chefs. The local history section was better, including a selection of small pamphlets (around £4 each) published by the Twickenham Local History Society as well as a coffee-table book on Eel Pie Island. They also had a display of general books by local authors.

Accessibility: No step to get in. There's a steepish ramp up to the cafe in the back.

Last visited by Kake, May 2011. Opening hours taken from sign outside on that visit.
